It's amazing what some good, sustained effort can do. Effort is far more effective than worrying, far more effective than complaining that things aren't going your way.
Whether the situation is wonderful or whether it is dismal, focus on what you can actually do with it. Focus on where your efforts can be put to best use.
Don't let the details of what has already happened cause you to lose sight of the efforts necessary to move forward. Direct your attention to what you can do now. Then go ahead and make the effort. Go beyond wishing, thinking about it, planning to do it, and just get started.
Positive effort will make a far more meaningful difference than arguing about who is to blame. If you feel passionate about the situation, put the energy of that passion to good use, by putting it into positive, productive effort.
Always remember that your effort can take you where you want to go. The faster you start, the sooner you'll be there.

Thanks Jim for this...As you know my mother came from Latin America and when I was young I spoke Spanish...because my father didn't want my mother to allow us to speak it...so we grew up without spanish spoken in our home and only my siblings that visited distant family members or were stationed in the military such as Panama...my mother's homeland...can speak it today. I can't...except for a few words that is...and then I don't think I have the words correctly pronounced.
My thoughts on the subject is this...In America, the majority is still English speaking...when the Senators start a voting for it not to be the majority..."what are they a thinking!?" as good Doctor Phil, would say.
Are they thinking that we will no longer remain the majority?
Is that why there is such a push to lock the borders? Are we fastly becoming Spanish America?
You know that is something to think about? I don't have a problem with immigrants coming into this country...for we all are immigrants when one looks back to the homeland of our Ancestors,grandparents and parents...(Except the Native Americans)
Yet, what I would like to see the illegal aliens do is to play by the rules...for without rules...we would quickly disappear...It is obvious that we are having a rough time due to big businesses a leaving for other countries...the job market is greatly a slowing down...we are now even importing agriculture/fish from outside America...with other countries holding the control as to the quality of those commodies coming in from their countries to ours; as we have already seen a light indication that the reasonings of Former Full Terms President Bill Clinton And former Vice President Al Gore, was off base, with their NAFTA concept they put into operation during their last term in office.(different contaminated and dangerous products being shipped into our country)
President Bush I believe felt that by offering Central America and South America the same industrial advantage in hopes of keeping down the flow of illegals from these parts of the world...by offering them the same advantage...you know the same as Clinton-Gore ticket, great tax breaks for big businesses in exporting their business from American Workers and soil to other countries.
I say; that if we aren't careful...America could one day, go into a Third World Country...for without work...how will taxes keep getting paid? How will schools keep a running and educating our children and future family lines...and all of our social services...as well as high crimes on the increase...due to disadvantaged and homeless individuals growing by leaps and bounds...like Reveleation states, "in end times, those that have not will take from those that have." Are you grasping the big picture here?
I live in America and have since the age of 3 when my dad brought my mom and my two brothers and myself from Panama to Ft. Alexandria, Virginia...his last state side Station.
My mother became naturalized as soon as she could and paid taxes her whole life living here in America...she also learned the English language and graduated from an American High School...
What I am trying to say is this...when America, act like an American...Just like in France, some can speak the language...yet not all...yet many Americans love to visit France...and some do choose to live there...just like we don't expect them all to make English the major language...those are my thoughts...Till we remain the majority of English speaking people, these are my thoughts...
ps. I have no problem with having interpretators in schools, governmental and utilities companies and such...I have a problem with English being a second instead of a first language...just my thoughts further on the subject...

American Family Radio - Today's Radio for Life
American Family Radio - Today's Radio for Life
I believe that it was AF Radio that several of my friends heard something about the governor of California passing into law a bill that would ban our kids that are going to school and using words like, he, she...because it shows gender differences? Plus, the words mom and dad...because some kids have two dads and or/two moms...
Same Sex Preferences is not of the majority rule...personally I believe that there will come a time like Revelations discusses that our children will become so confused that to not honor their mother and father will almost be the standard, instead of the minority like it is now.
My thoughts on same sex preferences? What ever flies ones boat, perhaps won't give wind to another's. Same sex preferences is not what I am about, yet what others do with their life's is totally up to them and God.
So to judge, "judge not least thee be judged," is a rule that I choose to follow. For only God knows what is in the hearts of those that choose this or that way...I am not about to judge that which I don't know about...and just like I will be the only one present with God when it is time to deliver up my intentions about all those things...I chose to pursue...the same will be for all of mankind...we all will be alone when it is time for our life accounting...Does that make sense?
The Commandment to "to honor thy father and thy mother so that ones days will be many on the earth," I feel will never be casted totally aside even if all the legislators of the future, do get together and creates a new religion based upon government standards...for there will still be us die hearts that would sooner die than surrender our lives to our government. For God is the only one that I will totally surrender to.
I have had numerous emails from different legal groups that are a fighting for our Christian Rights in the White House...I have gotten emails about the F.C.C. a wanting to take off the television and radio wave lengths...Christian Programming, and words that denote Christian belief systems...
I am highly offended to think that America was founded on these Christian principles and beliefs and now...the land of the free and home of the proud...is becoming censored and locked down...
All the masses of foreigners that have come to America to seek the better life are a finding that America is no better than their own home land...and for some of these foreigners they are a wanting us to include their belief systems into ours and changing ours...and are a doing it...and we are a wondering why we are experiencing so much oddities in the weather, lack of employment, lack of industries, and politicians not a doing right or as they promised before getting into office?
America, we might perhaps have our priorities wrong? We have taken our eyes off of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit...without the Trinity of God, we are nothing!
I was told today by a friend/client, that she heard that the fires that have burned 11,000 homes...might have happened due to God not liking what the state of California, pushed through, for if kids are going to be raised up where it is illegal for them to say, mom and dad, how can these kids take serious their own biological parents or our parents in Heaven...she felt that what Arnold allowed, was not a good thing...I agree about the bill passing were it real...the judgement part, I will leave to God...prayers is all I can give California...for they are definitely not only suffering...we are here as well...the drought/heat is taking a toll on us all...
